For over 900 years, Belvoir Castle has stood proudly on its hilltop, witnessing the ebb and flow of English history.

From Norman conquest to modern day, the castle has been rebuilt and reimagined several times, each incarnation reflecting the tastes and tribulations of its era.

Today, Belvoir Castle remains the family home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland, welcoming visitors from around the world to experience its rich history and stunning architecture.

Nestled in the breath taking grounds of Belvoir Castle today, the 2026 Flower and Garden Show is shaping up to be the Castle’s  biggest and most exciting event yet!

Set against the magnificent backdrop of Belvoir Castle, this celebrated Flower & Garden Show offers a vibrant, uplifting day filled with colour, creativity and inspiration. The event brings together extraordinary floral displays, imaginative garden designs and a curated selection of specialist nurseries, artisan makers and lifestyle stalls.

Guests can enjoy expert talks and live demonstrations from leading horticultural figures, including returning TV favourites David Domoney and Adam Frost, who share practical insights, design ideas and stories from their careers. Their sessions form part of a rich programme of workshops, Q&As and hands on activities designed to spark creativity for gardeners of all levels.

Across the showground, visitors will find unique shopping opportunities, from rare plants and garden accessories to hand crafted gifts and outdoor living inspiration. A tempting selection of artisan food stalls and refreshments adds to the relaxed festival atmosphere, making it easy to pause, unwind and soak up the castle’s sweeping views.

One of the event’s highlights is the prestigious border competition, where designers from across the country showcase imaginative planting schemes celebrating this year’s theme of Pollinators. These creative borders offer fresh ideas and striking visual inspiration for any garden enthusiast.

With its blend of horticultural excellence, family friendly entertainment and the timeless beauty of Belvoir Castle’s grounds, the Flower & Garden Show promises a memorable, feel good summer experience. Whether you’re seeking expert knowledge, shopping inspiration or simply a delightful day surrounded by nature, this much loved event delivers charm, colour and creativity at every turn.
