Inside the auditorium, the atmosphere builds as the queens prepare to reclaim their stories with wit, style and unforgettable vocals. Whether you’re a seasoned theatregoer or discovering Six for the first time, you’ll be swept up in its bold staging, clever storytelling and infectious pop soundtrack.

Six is a bold, modern retelling of the lives of Henry VIII’s six wives — but told from their own perspectives, not his. The queens step forward as a pop concert girl group, each performing a high energy solo that reframes her historical experience with wit, attitude and contemporary musical influences.

At the start of the show, the queens decide to hold a competition to determine who had the worst time being married to Henry VIII. Each wife takes the mic to tell her story:

  • Catherine of Aragon refuses to be cast aside when Henry seeks an annulment.

  • Anne Boleyn jokes her way through the chaos that led to her execution.

  • Jane Seymour shares a heart felt account of love, loss and pressure to produce an heir.

  • Anna of Cleves celebrates her freedom and wealth after Henry rejects her.

  • Katherine Howard reveals the darker truth behind her flirtatious reputation.

  • Catherine Parr questions why they’re competing at all, urging them to reclaim their identities.

As the show progresses, the queens realise their stories have always been defined by Henry — and they refuse to let that continue. They abandon the competition, unite as a group, and rewrite their own endings, celebrating empowerment, individuality and sisterhood.

After the final applause, our coach will be waiting to take you home comfortably and safely, rounding off a memorable outing filled with music, laughter and standout performances.

Join us for a royally entertaining trip that promises sparkle, sass and a show you’ll be talking about long after the curtain falls.
